With the 93-day countdown underway, Camden adds to the thrills and hype with a new feature celebrating the silent contributors who are bringing this grand event to life.
In anticipation of the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games, Camden is proud to have collaborated with Eventeam and KENEO on behalf of Plaine Commune and the Seine-Saint-Denis Department to direct and produce a striking manifesto video.
On April 24, just 93 days before the Games’ kickoff, Plaine Commune and the Département de la Seine-Saint-Denis paid tribute to the local workers and contributors behind the scenes who are working to make this event a success. The iconic locations set to host the festivities were unveiled at the forecourt of the Stade de France by Stéphane Troussel, President of the Department, Mathieu Hanotin, President of Plaine Commune and Mayor of Saint-Denis, along with Patrick Ollier, President of the Métropole, and Tony Estanguet, President of Paris 2024.
Camden produced the manifesto video, highlighting the dedicated faces that make the Games a collective triumph. The team had the honour of capturing this ceremony and broadcasting its spectacular ending, which featured 150 participants forming an impressive "J-93" figure on the Écluse footbridge. The dramatic tribute was shot with stunning aerial coordination by the Camden team.
It All Comes Down To “93"
The number 93 wasn’t picked out of a hat. The piece shines a spotlight not only on the athletes but also on the countless obscure heroes who transform the city into a global sports force. That’s why Camden strategically invited JoeyStarr, the legendary French rapper from Seine-Saint-Denis—department number 93—to lend his voice to the manifesto. His narration vibrates with authenticity and echoes his own heritage from the 93, deepening the area’s connection to the Games.
Camden is proud to have been a part of this extraordinary commitment to promoting large-scale events while highlighting local players and their crucial contributions.
Celebrations across Seine-Saint-Denis
This partnership extends throughout Seine-Saint-Denis, with a second motion video spotlighting iconic celebration sites of the OPG.
The Department sets up the major celebration site, the "Parc des Jeux," in the heart of Georges-Valbon Park in La Courneuve, an exceptional green oasis. Spanning 8 hectares, it will be France’s largest Olympic and Paralympic celebration site. In addition, 27 local celebration sites - "Clubs 2024," will open during the Games.
These sites will be more than just venues for celebration; they will be vibrant places of life, buzzing with sports activities, cultural events, and concerts by renowned artists such as Soolking, DJ Abdel, Bianca Costa, and Magic System
